Colors Available to pass Lead Testing Criteria:

* Please Read:   The State of Illinois has passed more stringent laws regarding lead content in Children's clothing market...please contact your own sources for information as to Illinois State requirements.

Please understand that every lot of rhinestones, no matter how they vary, Size or Color, will have specific tags as to metal content of Lead, Cadmium, Chromium, Mercury, and others...these tags are very specific. No two lots will be the same. We can identify the stones we sell by these tags. Please do not think others can purchase one package of our rhinestones, and substitute other rhinestones to fill out a stone requirement, for were it to come to it, we can prove what stones we sell as opposed to other stones that may have been used. We warrant only the stones we sell to the limit of refunding money for the rhinestones only, were our Rhinestones to fail any other testing! We cannot be held responsible for what you do with our rhinestones, how substitutions are made once our Rhinestones leave our facility. It comes down to a matter of trust. Were it to come down to it, we know exactly what we sell, and should "our" rhinestones suddenly show up with unacceptable levels of lead, we will know substitutions have been made. We keep careful records and pictographs of every lot of rhinestone we sell as Low-Lead. My strong advice is to deal ONLY with those you trust to use what you have purchased from Rhinestone Guy! Do not find yourself at an ugly end of a lawsuit because someone, somewhere has substituted our stones with stones of unacceptable lead levels.! !!!!!!! I believe I have made myself quite clear on this!

Please understand that there is NO SUCH THING as a lead-free rhinestone. !!!! There are rhinestones that fall at or under the acceptable levels of Lead, Chromium, Cadmium, Mercury, and other heavy metals. Lead is all about us, there is probably nothing that is truly "Lead-free." Therefore, acceptable levels are what we are looking for here...and in California, that level is 600 ppm (Part Per Million). Federal Laws supersede any state laws. At this time, we believe these Federal laws to be 600 ppm. Federal Laws may fall to 300ppm this May, we do not have confirmation of this yet.   IF for any reason, you have reason to believe this lead amount is lower, please inform us. We are in the business of selling rhinestones, not being a Law Office!

At this time, we have tested all Asian Rhinestones in our stocks...NONE met the acceptable levels of lead!  These rhinestones are being sold as "lead-free" by Asian sources and US Retailers, but they fail all testing we have subjected them to.  The color, Crystal, contains significant amounts of lead, enough to be considered, in the State of California,  Lead Crystal! All Czech rhinestones that we have tested (older stock) have qualified as Lead Crystal under California's description of Lead Crystal...and  lead crystal will not pass "Low-Lead" requirements. Be very careful as to who you are dealing with, what you are dealing with, and who makes your transfers, if you are in the Children's Wear market! Were I in the Children's Wear market, I could not have transfers made in China any longer unless I had my own Lead Testing Laboratory. A lot of China-made transfers, were they to fail the testing, will not be taken back, there will be no refunds made, and you will have lost the entire run...this is up to you, I do not run your business, nor do I want to. Unfortunately, the same can be written of Korean Transfers. I write the above only as an intent to alert you of the potential dangers you face in the clothing embellishment business. I hope you take this writing in the vein it is written.  If you are in the Children's wear business, I recommend you read all at this link...Lead Content in Rhinestones
